High school lettering - Karen Brekke - discussed the concept of club programs, excused absences etc. One other club sport is Border Blades. Need to create criteria to qualify.  Students need to abide by NDHSA rules as well. Register for high school competitive program. Must have coaching instruction and coach must sign off.

Old business - Sioux raffle. Check came in for $10970.07

UND club proposal - There have been letters sent to the board members expressing disappointment at not being able to set up a club through the curling club.  Brenda did an analysis of basic costs per member as $46 outlining what it costs to have an additional curler. Satrom to write a letter in response from the board to the proposed UND Curling Club.
Lindgren moved Satrom to write a letter. Whalen seconded

Claude Spicer family is considering a youth curling donation. Board approves

Bonspiels - Men's march 16 - 18, 2012.  Women's is Feb 17-19, 2012. Discussed killing the mixed at new years and moving to an open spiel Oct 28-30, 2012. CanAm spiel Feb 24-26, 2012
Brenda to call Donna Pearson about 5 and under next year.
Teapot is scheduled for April 5. Bina to approach Claussen to cook. Motioned by Whalen and Seconded by Richard

Annual meeting- first Tuesday in April is traditional date. Need to amend bylaws such that it can be held on a different date. This meeting is the first notice of suggested change. Date for this years meeting is April 12. Suggested location is eagles crest. Bin a is checking on availability. Motion on above is made by Richard and seconded by Brenda.

Some discussion of building project progress.  Initial numbers from architect firm are in.  Building committee is formulating options as to location, renovation or new.

Bonspiels went well. CanAm made approximately $2500 and men's spiel books have not been closed.
